Some days it’s a slowly whisked bowl. Others, an iced latte on the way out. We wanted a collection with room for both.
Our first release brings together three Japanese matchas from Uji and Kagoshima, each with its own character. The idea is simple: choose by what you enjoy drinking, not by how complicated the label sounds.
The café is in Palo Alto. Your next cup can be anywhere.

Reserve
Deep umami with a long, lingering finish. Our choice for a bowl whisked with water, when you want to give the matcha your full attention.
Signature
Bright and balanced, with enough character to return to every day. A versatile place to start, whether you prefer it whisked or with milk.
Muse
Gently nutty and smooth. An easygoing choice for a daily latte, hot or iced, without losing the character of the tea.

On the shelf
Three colours. One collection.
Navy for Reserve, white for Signature, moss for Muse. Each keeps the same rikyū symbol and wordmark, with the matcha name and origin beneath. Quiet enough to leave out on the counter; distinct enough to reach for the right one.

A few things to know.
How do I prepare it?
Sift 2 g into a bowl, add a little 175°F water, and whisk until frothy. Add milk for a latte. Start there, then adjust the amount of matcha to suit your cup.
How should I store it?
Keep sealed, cool and away from light. After opening, close tightly and enjoy within about a month.
What are the shipping options?
